We are seeking study participants who are 18-75 years of age who are currently enrolled in a methadone program.

Purpose
Our goal is to assess the efficacy and tolerability of a biased opioid agonist for suppressing or reversing opioid withdrawal.
Length of Study
5-29 overnight stays at the Clinical Research Unit (CRU) at Johns Hopkins Bayview campus.
Study Activities
Taking a study drug or placebo, withdrawing from methadone for a short period before resuming the medication, questionnaires, medical assessments, blood draws, and urine samples.
Compensation
Up to $4,631.
Local Travel
Will be provided (via Uber Health) or reimbursed.
